Revolutionary War ideas

I would love to see a story where Vin gets to be a slave or indentured. Long as his "owner" was a mean ornery cuss! I like stories (non-romance!) that are written about the early American history. I can see Vin, wrongly accused, sent over on a ship as an indentured servant as part of his sentence and being stuck with a monstrous owner. Chris, of course, would be a prime mover in the American Independence movement. Hmm, the Freedom Fighters. Could be a good name for an A/U.

An AU set during the Revolutionary War era. (This is inspired by a fondness for the movie "The Patriot".) Since Ezra wouldn't really fit in New England, I would set it in Virginia or Maryland. All of the characters would be in the Revolutionary Army

This is sort of a different swing to the Revolutionary War era idea. I always thought that the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes would be a good idea for a Mag 7 AU piece, especially after I heard it put to music by Loreena McKennitt. I've been wanting to write something like that myself, but the other plot bunnies won't let me. So if anybody else likes the idea, I'd love to read it.
